Development of the System of Non-Financial Reporting in Lamoda

As a result of final graduation work on development of the system of non-financial reporting at Lamoda, a management process, mechanics, tools, and recommendations for reporting were developed. The importance of non-financial reporting for the company's activities was substantiated and its impact on key stakeholders was analyzed; a review of standards and recommendations for the preparation of non-financial reporting was made and those relevant to the company were selected; the best Russian and international practices in non-financial reporting of similar business areas were analyzed and used to create recommendations. Based on an analysis of the managerial, organizational, and general corporate characteristics of the company, an empirical study consisting of two parts was conducted. As part of the first online survey to identify significant topics, a survey was conducted among internal and external stakeholders. A total of 688 people took part. As part of the second, based on the materials studied and the first part of the survey, forms were compiled for filling out by different departments and functions and 12 meetings were held to identify those aspects of information that could be disclosed taking into account the specifics of the company. Based on this, the following was developed: a project plan for creating a report, a report structure, a list of employees from departments and functions involved in collecting information, a sample form to fill out, a communication plan and a table with communication features for all stakeholders, and general recommendations for the process.
