The paper examines universal and regional documents (conventions, covenants, etc.) regulating the rights of labor migrants. The paper provides a comparative analysis of the provisions of universal and regional organizations, gives a brief historical background, and substantiates the factors, conditions of growth of labor migration in the modern world. The main research is aimed at studying the legislations of the EU as an international intergovernmental organization with legal personality, Russia and Singapore. The choice of these subjects of international law is conditioned by the presence of legal contrast, differences and similarities, which objectively give an understanding of the degree of implementation of universally recognized norms on human rights and protection of the rights of migrant workers, who by virtue of their status in a foreign country find themselves in a vulnerable position, and their natural, labor and other rights can be violated. The research has led to a number of conclusions that characterize the legislation and peculiarities of legal regulation of protection of labor migrants' rights in the EU, Russia, and Singapore. The work provides a number of classifications, analytical conclusions, as well as statements in the field of human rights protection.
