By familiarising herself with academic and practitioner journals, the author refines the list of social impact evaluation models, shedding light on the diversity of approaches to the evaluation process. In addition, the identification of drivers and barriers to the implementation of a social impact assessment system based on the experience of Russian organisations enriches the understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this area.
