The master's thesis is dedicated to the development of practical recommendations for the approaches of companies to the implementation of social investment programs in the regions of their presence. The purpose of the work is to assess the key aspects of the social and environmental well–being of mono-cities in order to determine the role of social investments of systemic enterprises in preserving the working age population in the territories of their presence. Within the framework of the Master's thesis, the key stakeholders of social investments of city-forming enterprises in single-industry towns, as well as the main aspects of the social and environmental well-being of the territories were identified. The approaches to the development of social investment programs and the procedure for choosing priority investment areas were analyzed. As a result, practical recommendations regarding these approaches were developed. The explanatory note contains 120 pages, 5 illustrations, 11 tables.
