Features of the European Policy of the Italian Republic in the Military-Technical Field (2019-2023)

This paper identifies the main features of the interaction of the Italian Republic with European countries in the military-technical sphere. As one of the leading exporting countries, Italy makes a significant contribution to the activities of such associations as the EU and NATO. In addition to joint activities within the framework of associations, Italy supports military-technical cooperation within the framework of separate bilateral and multilateral relations with European countries. Within the framework of this work, the restrictions imposed on Italy depending on participation in a particular defense initiative are investigated, as well as contradictions of such cooperation are revealed.
