Educational Programme: Asian Studies (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2024

The purpose of the paper is to analyze the transformation of relations between the PRC and the Gulf States between 2021 and 2023. The study explores the political, economic and strategic aspects of the interaction, as well as key events such as Xi Jinping's visit to Saudi Arabia and the invitation of the Gulf states to BRICS. The brief review of sources includes both foreign and domestic academic papers, official documents and analytical reports, which provided a deeper understanding of the dynamics and characteristics of this relationship. The study found that the relationship between the PRC and the Gulf States has strengthened significantly in recent years. This is evident in the growth of trade, increased investment, and enhanced security and energy cooperation. At the same time, the importance of the region for China's energy security and its desire for a long-term strategic partnership with the Gulf States is growing. The results of the study can be useful to the academic community and students of international relations and economics. The work enriches existing knowledge on China's interaction with other countries and can serve as a basis for further research in this area.
