Since 2014, the global energy market has faced significant challenges, including energy price fluctuations, increased US shale oil production, political and economic crises, as well as the global COVID-19 pandemic and the trend towards renewable energy sources. In this context, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which is the largest player in the oil market, is constantly adapting to changing market conditions and developing its influence in the energy arena. The purpose of the study is to analyze OPEC's key strategies and decisions aimed at stabilizing and regulating the global oil market in response to these changes. For this aim, both quantitative methods including statistical analysis and qualitative methods containing content analysis, case – studies and document analysis will be undertaken. This research work will allow us to better understand the role of OPEC in ensuring the sustainability of the global energy balance and the future role of the organization in the global energy market. Additionally, it will examine how OPEC's strategic decisions impact global energy security and economic stability, highlighting the organization's key role in the international energy landscape.
