This diploma thesis is dedicated to studying the features of applying project management methods and tools in government agencies and private companies in the field of education in Russia. The aim of the research is to identify effective practices for project management and communication in educational organizations and private companies, as well as to develop recommendations for their improvement. The research analyzed current project management methods and tools, including methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall, as well as various communication channels like Telegram, Zoom, corporate email, and messengers. The study relied on an empirical base that included an analysis of management practices in companies such as Tinkoff, Homeet, Eduson, Soft Skills Lab, and AmoCRM, as well as the results of interviews with representatives of educational organizations. The main findings of the study showed that agile project management methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) are the most adaptive and effective under conditions of constant change. However, for structured projects, the Waterfall methodology remains relevant. The use of diverse communication channels facilitates the rapid exchange of information and coordination of team work, while task tracking tools like Asana and Trello enhance transparency and task execution control. Additionally, it was found that effective management practices include the use of both online and offline work formats, as well as strategies for conflict resolution and process optimization. Major issues related to project management and communication include delays, misunderstandings, the absence of a unified platform for task tracking, and unclear responsibilities. Addressing these problems requires the implementation of project documentation, a review of employee motivation, and increased resources. In conclusion, the recommendations developed based on the research can be useful for educational organizations seeking to improve their operational efficiency and the quality of the educational services they provide.
