Liability problems of the Sole Executive Body of a Company for damages

The dissertation is dedicated to the issues of holding the sole executive body liable for the losses of a commercial company as it is regulated in Russian law. The author analyzes the status of the sole executive body of a commercial company, their competence, as well as the specifics of accountability, taking into account existing criteria for such accountability. As a result of the study of accumulated practical and theoretical material, the author has identified imperfections in legal techniques, gaps in legal regulation, and incompleteness in describing evaluative categories for holding the sole executive body of a commercial company accountable. The dissertation suggests making a number of changes to legislative regulation aimed at improving the institute of accountability of the sole executive body, bringing case law practice into uniformity.
