Application of the Principles of the Circular Economy in Dairy Farming

The relevance of this study is due to several factors. On the one hand, there is the growth and development of the livestock industry, in parallel with its transformation to a more technological and innovative one. On the other hand, agriculture and livestock production are key sectors that have a negative impact on the environment. The principles of circular economy are already applied by many farms abroad, while in Russia the introduction of circular economy of production has become one of the goals of the national project "Environmental Wellbeing". As a result of the research by methods of case study and expert interviews, popular and only developing technologies to reduce losses at all stages of dairy production were studied, calculations on their payback were made and recommendations for Russian livestock farms on the feasibility of their application were derived. The structure of the work is determined by its goals, objectives and research methods. The master's thesis consists of three main chapters, introduction and conclusion. The chapters are divided into paragraphs of several levels, allowing to emphasise narrow problems and to investigate the material more deeply.
