A considerable number of articles and reports are devoted to the research of ESG-concept, as examples of studying the essence of ESG-banking are the works of such authors as Galletta S., Mazzu S., Naciti V., Badalyan M.A., Zimina O.S., at the same time a separate direction should be noted the study of the influence of ESG-concept on the reduction of banking risks. In this regard, it is necessary to note the works of Doronin B. A., Glotova I. I., Tomilina E. P. Prospects of ESG banking. P. The prospects of ESG banking are analyzed in the works of M. A. Miroshnichenko, D. R. Zhirnova, as well as the works of foreign authors - Agnese P., E. Giacomini. The object of research in the work is the concept of ESG-banking, the subject is its influence on the financial efficiency of banks. The aim of the paper is to identify the degree of influence of ESG-banking and the concept of sustainable growth on the financial efficiency of the banking sector. To achieve this goal, the paper addresses the following tasks: to analyze the essence and concept of ESG_banking; to consider the main trends and prospects of ESG banking development in the world; to characterize the peculiarities of implementation and realization of ESG banking in Russia; to identify ESG factors affecting the financial efficiency of banks; to consider models that can be used to assess the impact of ESG banking on financial efficiency; to analyze and critically review the results obtained; to make recommendations based on the analysis
