This paper investigated the impact of artificial intelligence and online platforms on retail transformation. A total of 50 Russian companies from the retail sector participated in the analysis. After statistical analysis, three models were built to test the hypotheses. From the regression models on panel data all hypotheses were confirmed, namely that the integration of AI into the operational processes of retailers and the presence and active use of online platforms positively affect the annual revenue of companies, the automation of business processes using AI and the presence of an active page in social networks positively affect the company's rating, the automation of operations using AI and the use of online platforms reduce the share of operating costs in companies. All the coefficients on the variables turned out to be significant, as an assessment of the adequacy of the models, the coefficient of determination was used, which was greater than 0.5. This coefficient allows us to make sure that the models are significant.
