Within the framework of the master's thesis, a topic devoted to the analysis of public-law foundations of bioethics was investigated. Currently, this area is poorly studied, while its solution affects the issue of realization of constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen, as well as the development of society as a whole. In the course of the study, the main problem areas of bioethics were identified, such as transplantology, reproductology and genetic engineering. It is in conducting medical and clinical research in these areas of bioethics that fundamental constitutional human rights are violated to the greatest extent, which is unacceptable. Thus, as a result of a comprehensive analysis of the problem of the implementation of bioethics and the genesis of its public-law foundations, it was possible to develop proposals for modernizing Russian legislation, which in our opinion will help not only to ensure the implementation of constitutional rights and principles, but also to prevent catastrophic consequences of biomedical research. of biomedical research.
