The Arctic is of extreme interest to South Korea from an economic and geopolitical point of view. Seoul is also considering the Arctic region as a new international logistics route that will help reduce the distance and time of transporting goods and ensure the safety of ships from the sea. In addition, South Korea is actively engaged in scientific research activities in the region. The study analyzes the Arctic strategies of the Republic of Korea, the diplomacy of a middle power, as well as the cooperation of this state with the Arctic countries.
