The role of ESG in the realm of supply chains becomes increasingly significant. Incorporating modern trends poses not only challenges for the logistics industry but also new opportunities for optimizing the global value chain. This study aims to explore the phenomenon of ESG and its impact on supply chain management efficiency. An important aspect of the research involves a comprehensive examination not only of environmental but also social and managerial aspects of ESG. Such an approach allows for assessing the influence of ESG on logistics activities and identifying opportunities for improving supply chain management processes in the context of sustainable development. The paper presents a functional-cost analysis, processes of changing logistics costs associated with the use of the "Tinkoff Pay" product. A crucial aspect of this work is the examination of the legislative framework regulating complex supply chain management processes in the context of ESG. This includes the analysis of international acts as well as the legislation of the Russian Federation. Comparative legal analysis enables a systematic study of the legal aspect of the problem and identifies best practices that can be incorporated into national legislation. Thus, this study represents a systematic investigation employing various methods and addressing pertinent aspects of contemporary phenomena. It contributes to the exploration of ESG trends amidst significant transformations in logistics methodologies.
