Changes in China's relations with France and Germany in the period 2021-2023 *Keywords*: China, France, Germany, European Union (EU), international relations, states` interests, foreign policy In the modern world, relations between states play a key role in shaping the world order and solving global problems. The last few years have been saturated with global events affecting the whole world, especially the economic and geopolitical balance of power in it. The dynamics of China's relations with France and Germany, the two leading countries of the European Union, in 2021-2023 is a hot topic that requires attention and careful study, given the importance of these countries on the world stage. Assessing the relations of these countries is of strategic importance in determining current and future trends in international politics. The aim of the paper is to identify the main trends and features of the interaction of these countries during the specified period of time, which will allow us to draw conclusions about the state and prospects for the development of international relations in the region. Various official documents, political speeches and statements, program documents will be considered as the main sources. Among the literature used are books, monographs, scientific articles, news articles. The period 2021-2023 saw many global political-economic changes, with the People's Republic of China at the epicenter. One of its main opponents in the geopolitical arena was the European Union. The EU's leading countries, Germany and France, worked closely with China during this time period on a multitude of issues. However, concerns about China's expanding global influence were also growing. This study will attempt to provide new analysis and insights into the dynamics of engagement between China, France, and Germany, as well as make recommendations for optimizing cooperation between these countries.
