This study aims to analyze and assess the impact of the Islamic Iranian Revolution of 1979 and the Mecca terrorist attack on November 20, 1979, on the foreign and domestic policies of the monarchical countries in the Persian Gulf region. The paper examines key changes in legislation and the rhetoric of leaders, as well as their consequences for the political and social structures of these states. To achieve this goal, methods of content analysis, historical method, and historical-genetic analysis were used. The theoretical basis of the study includes academic literature and scientific articles dedicated to the history of the mentioned states, their political, religious, and social structures. The first chapter of the work provides the historical context of the Islamic Iranian Revolution and the Mecca terrorist attack, as well as analyzes their immediate consequences for the countries of the Persian Gulf. The second chapter discusses changes in legislation and the rhetoric of the leaders of these countries caused by the mentioned events. The third chapter explores the long-term consequences of these changes for the foreign and domestic policies of the region's countries, as well as their impact on social and religious life.
