The graduate qualification work ‘Development of virtual studio system for real-time video production contains 68 pages, 28 figures, 2 tables and 46 sources. In recent years there has been a high level of interest in improving and simplifying the process of creating real-time video content without the need for post-processing. This work aims to investigate a way to develop a virtual studio system that could simplify the video production process by offering a seamless and cost-effective solution for real-time content creation. The advent of virtual reality and augmented reality technologies has created unprecedented opportunities in video production. Using virtual studio systems, content creators can bypass the limitations of traditional physical studio settings by immersing themselves in a virtual environment. This project presents a solution for creating a virtual studio system for the MIEM Network Video Technologies laboratory for filming educational, entertainment and other types of videos. The system can also be useful for small studios, for which the price factor of the virtual studio is of great importance and it is necessary to achieve the high quality of filming with minimal investment and equipment. The result of this work is the creation of a virtual studio system based on Unreal Engine 5, PTZ cameras and chroma key technology.
