The aim of this thesis is to develop an online educational platform unitED, with a focus on improving professional competences in the field of digital technologies. The platform is designed both for beginners who wish to quickly master the necessary skills and for experts who seek to improve their hard skills in order to increase their salary. The fast pace of digital technology creates a need for professionals in the field to constantly update their knowledge and skills. However, a limited amount of time can be a barrier to full self-development. This is why unitED aims to ensure that new technical skills are learned quickly and efficiently, enabling users to become competitive in the labour market. The app will be developed for iOS and Android operating systems to maximise user reach and make educational content available to anyone looking to improve their digital skills. The work will include analysing existing educational platforms, exploring methods of effective online learning and identifying user requirements for the app's content and functionality. Based on this data, a redesigned version of unitED will be developed, taking into account current educational trends and market requirements. The final application should have an intuitive interface, ease of use and a flexible, personalised approach to learning. It will contain a wide range of courses, video tutorials, assignments and practical tasks, allowing users to build their skills according to their chosen specialisation. Ultimately, the successful development and redesign of the unitED platform will contribute to the professionalisation of users, increase their salaries and develop the digital technology sector as a whole.
