The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that digitalization is gaining popularity in the world and in Russia. Along with it, digital financial assets are becoming popular, a form of investment that is based on distributed registry technologies that allow managing financial means through the Internet, storing and transferring them. In Russia, the development of the digital financial assets market began with the recognition of digital assets as a means of payment and investment. In 2020, the law on digital financial assets came into force, which regulates relations in this area and ensures the protection of the rights of market participants. Now the digital financial assets market is actively developing in Russia, and the country's authorities support its development. This work examines the following aspects of digital financial assets: Features of digital financial assets for companies and investors. Legislative base in the Russian Federation. Directions of legal approaches in the world. Foreign and Russian experience. Experience of issuing digital financial assets. Advantages and risks. The structure of the work is determined by its relevance, goals, objectives, object, subject and methods. It consists of an introduction, 3 chapters and a conclusion, logically connected to each other. Each chapter is divided into subsections that focus on the tasks set. It is important to remember that any forms of investing are associated with financial risks, and before making a decision it is necessary to consult an expert.
