Adapted Russian Version of Joines Personality Adaptation Questionnaire (JPAQ)

Abstract This in this scientific paper presents data on the modification and psychometric approbation of the Russian-language version of the Personality Adaptation Questionnaire (JPAQ). The validation of Personality Adaptation Questionnaire is carried out in collaboration with Dr. Vann Joines, the author and creator of the test. Dr. Joines is a Certified Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst ITAA, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PhD, President and Director of the Southeast Institute for Group and Family Therapy (North Carolina USA)). The paper provides a brief overview of the theoretical fundamentals of the Personality Adaptations Model and its relationship to other typologies, as well as description of the stages of the Personality Adaptation Questionnaire's adaptation and modification, statistical indicators of the validity and reliability of the 1-st, 2-nd and 3-rd editions of the test, description of convergent (external) validity of the Personality Adaptations test. Finally, new empirical data on the relationships between the scales of personality adaptations is presented.
