This paper is devoted to the problem of the reception of Xunzi by Boston Confucians, namely such representatives as Robert Neville, John Berthrong and Tu Weiming. This is a new phenomenon that appeared at the turn of the century, i.e. quite recently, so this current is still poorly researched. Moreover, the agents of this school have a great influence in the international academic environment, the texts of some of them have even been translated into Russian. But even with this, they continue to exert a strong influence on the academic community. This paper is the first to study the interpretation of the philosophy of Xunzi by the Boston Confucians; to introduce and translate into Russian new parts of the text of Xunzi and articles and books of the Boston Confucians; to clarify the main key terms and categories used by the Boston Confucians.
