Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are now used in many areas of human life, including scientific, civilian, military and commercial. Many of these aircraft use a satellite signal for terrain orientation, but it is not uncommon to lose the signal, which prevents the device from functioning properly. To solve this problem, an algorithm based on a neural network has been proposed to use the video stream of a UAV to determine its geoposition relative to a static map. In this study, key point matching algorithms in images are analyzed. Based on the analysis, a UAV orientation system based on video with reference to a static map is developed.
