“Service for executing business scenarios in microservice systems using a finite state machine” is a solution that allows you to orchestrate business processes that involve several services using scenarios - state diagrams in the Plant UML format. A script has states (vertices of the state machine) and transitions between them (edges of the state machine). States correspond to handlers that perform specific business logic or a local transaction in terms of Saga pattern. Transitions correspond to a pair of states and an event through which the transition occurs. Such scenarios are launched and controlled using an API that implements the following methods: 1. Creating and launching a new script instance for execution 2. Sending an event to a running instance 3. Getting the current state of the instance Any service in a microservice system can be responsible for implementing a state handler. The tool's programming interface implements the ability to transfer arbitrary data to such a handler and receive data from it as a result for further scenario operations.
