In this paper we uncover Friedrich Dessauer's ontological, epistemological and theological foundation for defining technology as an extension of the creation «Weiterschöpfung». This term becomes central to the philosophical project of the philosopher; it grounds the ontological status of technology, its place in the episteme and ethical value. The engineer is likened to God the Creator, and technology becomes the unfolding of the Divine plan. We have identified Friedrich Dessauer's historical background, revealed the foundation of the philosopher's multiple ontology, and proved that his metaphysical project is based not on classical idealist metaphysics, but on a phenomenological interpretation of the ancient Greek legacy with reliance on the projects of Edmund Husserl and Alexius Meinong. This paper focuses on the works by the classics of philosophy of technology (F. Dessauer, P. Engelmeyer, E. Kapp, F. Relo and others) and modern philosophers (A. Pavlenko, A. Nesterov, A. Mikhailovsky, K. Mitchem, V. Gorokhov, G. Ropol. Nesterov, A.V. Mikhailovsky, K. Mitcham, V.G. Gorokhov, G. Ropol). Subject of the study: the term «Weiterschöpfung» in Friedrich Dessauer's classical philosophy of technology. The aim of this paper was to analyse Friedrich Dessauer's understanding of technology, to examine his method and to explore the development of his thought. An integrative approach was used to conduct the work: historical and philosophical method, comparative analysis, hermeneutic method.
