Nowadays, studies in Transactional Analysis, including the ego-structure of personality and personality adaptations focus on the client. Understanding the client's personality structure, adaptations, and personality traits helps the therapist develop the treatment plan and focus his work. It seems important to us to examine the dynamics of the ego-structure of the personality of a counseling psychologist as an active participant in the process of interpersonal interaction and psychological counseling. This research will enrich the theoretical knowledge in Transactional Analysis regarding functional ego-states, the concept of personal adaptations. The results will help counseling psychologists in planning professional development, in the prevention of emotional burnout, in the process of supervision and personal therapy.
