This master’s thesis examines the phenomenon of spontaneity is considered on the example of the personal experience of making a spontaneous decision from the point of view of modern existential analysis by A. Langle. A qualitative phenomenological study was conducted, which resulted in the structural model of the phenomenon of spontaneous decision. This model allowed us to formulate the following assumptions, which will have to be verified and clarified in further research: - The prerequisites for a person to find a spontaneous solution in a problematic life situation are the installation of openness towards himself and the world, as well as the expectation of a response, the search for internal conformity that arose in response to the solution of a problematic situation. - A person discovers his personal participation in the experience of making a spontaneous decision by experience evidence and experience the decision as an author's one. - A spontaneous decision, according to the content we have highlighted, is rather a spontaneously found existential meaning than a decision. The fusion of two processes: decision–making and the discovery of the existential meaning of a situation is a key characteristic of a spontaneous decision, which is found in the experience of a person.
