Hardware development entails implementing electronics and mechanisms for weight measurement, lid operation, and power delivery, resulting in a circuit connected to a controller. Software development involves programming the controller and creating a web application to administer the system. Additionally, the paper analyses the design of the electrical system and the selection of a suitable controller. This article identifies the most important aspects in designing mobile applications in Kotlin, reviews some architectural solutions and engineering patterns, and considers approaches to testing. The database design is also described. The desired model, database protection from external interference by the application interface and load testing are defined.
