Development of Tools for Analyzing Translations of Fiction Texts

Although the advancement of modern technologies has enabled the analysis and evaluation of translations, and even semantic comparison of textual documents, through various computer methods, the issue of qualitatively assessing the translation of literary texts remains pertinent. Currently, the analysis of literary translation necessitates significant time investment and expert involvement. To address this issue, this study proposes a tool that utilizes both statistical methods for text processing and machine learning models. Existing approaches to analyzing translations of literary texts were investigated in this study, an algorithm for automatic translation evaluation was developed, and the necessary requirements for enhancing the functionality of the implemented tool were outlined. Consequently, the outcome of this work is a tool for analyzing the translation of literary texts based on various criteria and employing diverse methodologies.
