This work provides an analysis of the dynamics of changes in the Russian discourse in the state media in relation to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict from 2000 to 2023. The theoretical analysis focuses on the Russian media space with its main characteristics, as well as concepts such as media setting and media framing. The empirical analysis is devoted to understanding which frames prevail in the Russian discourse on Nagorno-Karabakh and how they are covered, which makes it possible to draw conclusions about Russia's policy towards the discussed conflict. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that the conflict in the region was almost absent from the Russian media agenda, with the exception of 2016 and 2023. Moreover, the analysis showed that Russia's foreign policy towards the region was neutral and the news coverage vividly emphasised exclusively Russia's role as a peacemaker and its efforts to peacefully resolve the conflict.
