Online Game in Unreal Engine 5: Backend and Game Mode Logic

The video game market is one of the largest and fastest growing in the entertainment industry. Moreover, within this market, the most profitable games are considered to be games with support for a multiplayer component. Recently, there have been more and more cases of low-budget multiplayer games becoming popular and financially successful. This work is part of a network multiplayer game project. The game is a hybrid of the Real-time strategy and Action genres, and its gameplay is asymmetrical, which makes the game unique in its kind. The basis of this work is the implementation of the network component of the game, the logic of its game mode, as well as the backend server. In addition, this work includes other mechanics and more, including: "Fog of War", minimap, pause menu, settings menu, voice chat.
