Сlient Side of the Service for Preparing for Interviews: Users and their Interactions

Year of Graduation: 2024

The current job market is experiencing significant growth and development, making interview preparation increasingly challenging. With high competition and an overwhelming abundance of preparation materials, finding the right tools can be difficult. This issue is particularly pronounced in the IT industry and is especially relevant for professions such as business analysts, product managers, and project managers, due to the limited resources available to assist in their preparation. To address this challenge, our team has developed a solution that enables users to effectively prepare for interviews using a single tool: our application. Through user interaction, our app helps in selecting relevant advice from real professionals in the field, as well as curated articles that match the desired skill levels and existing experience. Additionally, users can take advantage of practice interviews that simulate the actual interview experience and provide evaluations of their responses. This iOS project, which is part of our team's graduation thesis, represents the client-side component of a service aimed at enhancing the interview preparation process by creating a community of users with similar goals. Our proposed solution is a service where users can interact through an integrated chat, exchange experiences, and offer advice. Furthermore, the service provides functionality for tracking user progress, personalizing user profiles, and optimizing the selection of preparation materials. The objective of this project is to create an environment that not only enhances individual readiness for interviews but also promotes knowledge-sharing through user interactions. The paper contains 62 pages, 3 chapters, 23 illustrations, 19 sources and 8 applications. Keywords: client part, iOS application, chats, personalization.
