Authentication and Authorization Software Component for a Recommendation Service

As of today, the microservices architecture stands as one of the primary approaches to software application development, distinguished by its flexibility and scalability. This graduation thesis presents the development and implementation of a key software component, the authentication and authorization microservice. This component not only serves as the foundation for secure access to system functions but also offers capabilities for the dynamic configuration of security policies and access rights. The work includes stages of microservice design, choice of technology stack, software code development, and ensuring integration with existing infrastructure to guarantee uninterrupted system operation. A particular focus of this work is placed on the processes of acceptance and testing of releases, which are critical for preventing the deployment of unstable versions.
