Software for Visualization and Processing of Computed Tomography Data in a Medical Institution

Student: Sergey Abrosov

Supervisor: Dmitry Alexandrov

Faculty: Faculty of Computer Science

Educational Programme: Software Engineering (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2024

Computed tomography is one of the most popular areas in medicine. Doctors of medical institutions analyze a huge number of research results daily, using various software for their work. Due to the lack of simple portable solutions, doctors work mainly at a stationary personal computer, which forces them to use complex applications, often with excessive functionality. The purpose of this work is to create a simple and compact solution that includes all the required basic functionality, which will allow conducting research regardless of the location of a medical institution employee. In turn, this will speed up the process of analyzing and sharing research results, while maintaining high quality and accuracy of conclusions. The text will describe the subject area of the project, the technologies used in the development process, as well as the results obtained.
