During the last decade, a positive trend in a volume of philanthropic activity can be observed. However, the non-profit sphere both in Russia and around the world faces a number of challenges, complicating the donation process and, in result, restricting the reach of the charity sphere. One of these problems is the observed crisis of trust in non-profit institutions. We believe that strengthening the communication between non-profits and their contributors, availability of reports and transparency of the results of non-profit’s actions can help combat this issue. The solution described in this document also includes the mechanisms to increase the user’s interest to make regular contributions. By leveraging the notifications system and personalised recommendations we hope to increase the volume of scheduled donations and the number of returning donors. In this document one can find the description of a system designed to combat the outlined problems.
