The paper describes the results of developing a gyroscope based on fiber-optic converters with external modulation. During the development process, current gyroscope models were studied, various methods of angle measurement were examined and analyzed, and a model was created taking into account sensor parameters and adverse environmental factors. A structural diagram and operational algorithm for the device were developed. The design and development of the gyroscope's schematic diagram were carried out. The design and layout of the printed circuit board were completed, along with the development of embedded and application software A prototype of the device was built based on the Milandr K1986VE92QI microcontroller, with the capability to display measurement results on an LCD screen, transmit them via the UART protocol, and testing was conducted. The results of the work were analyzed, and directions for the device's development were proposed. This paper consists of 79 pages, contains 61 figures and 6 tables. 31 sources were used in writing the paper.
