Abstract – This paper deals with a critical aspect of metrology - calibration of measuring instruments, in this case measuring voltages. In practice, real metrological characteristics, such as errors, may differ from the data in the documentation of the equipment, so the skill of calibration of measuring instruments is important in scientific work. As part of this work, an overview of the main metrological characteristics of measuring instruments and methods for their determination was conducted, a voltmeter calibration educational bench was developed and tested, and methodological guidelines were compiled. The results of this work are planned to be used in the educational process.
