Mobile Application for Freshness Control of Fruits and Vegetables in Distribution Centres

Student: Zaripov Anton

Supervisor: Nikolay Pavlochev

Faculty: Faculty of Computer Science

Educational Programme: Software Engineering (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2024

In today's world, digitalization is crucial for businesses to grow, thrive, and generate profit. Retail shops and supermarket chains are particularly affected by the lack of centralized control over their inventory. Corruption and negligence among those responsible for freshness control result in spoiled and rancid goods reaching the shelves of local supermarkets. This damages the supermarket's reputation in the eyes of consumers and leads to a decline in sales. My application aims to fully digitize the process of inspecting, controlling, and approving or rejecting supplies. This ensures that unreliable suppliers are not paid, and spoiled goods do not make it into supermarkets. Keywords: inspector; supply; retail; monitoring; goods; freshness control; fruits and vegetables.
