In the earliest stages of a new product, new brand, or building, an emphasis on minimalism and aesthetic reduction is increasingly evident. Visual research seeks to rethink these current trends and reconnect them with theory. In what form has the theory of minimalism arrived in the present day? What about the hesitancy that is triggered whenever a decision has to be made? What factors contribute to the growing obsession with minimalism? Is it for the better that «pragmatism» has taken over from «passion», and should we embrace this trend?
