This study evaluates the current legal practice of regulating artificial intelligence in the Russian Federation and draws on international experience to propose enhancements to regulatory frameworks. The methodology encompasses both general scientific and specific methods, with practical significance lying in the development of recommendations and a roadmap for balanced regulation of artificial intelligence in Russia. Keywords: artificial intelligence, regulatory framework, experimental legal regimes.
