The graduation thesis is dedicated to the topic «The use of artificial intelligence in the compliance system: modern approaches, advantages and risks». The research aims to assess contemporary strategies for integrating artificial intelligence into compliance processes, as well as to analyze the advantages and potential risks associated with it. The methodological basis of the study includes analysis, generalization, comparative legal, historical, and structural-functional methods. The thesis conducts an analysis of key problems and develops methods for their resolution. The main task of the research is a detailed examination of various approaches to the application of artificial intelligence in corporate compliance systems, the assessment of associated risks, and the development of ways to minimize them. The work expands the field of study on the positive and problematic aspects of implementing innovative solutions developed using artificial intelligence in the field of compliance. It has been established that one of the key tasks in implementing artificial intelligence is ensuring the transparency of decisions made on its basis. Complex algorithms, such as deep neural networks, often operate in a way that their processes and outputs are not always easily interpretable for human understanding. Furthermore, there are real complexities associated with using artificial intelligence in compliance, including a lack of data necessary for comprehensive model training. This limitation can significantly affect the accuracy and reliability of decisions made by the system when using artificial intelligence in compliance. In conclusion, the findings from the research are presented. In practice, artificial intelligence is successfully applied in compliance systems: for automating monitoring and control processes, preventing fraud, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing personalized solutions through data analysis and machine learning, assessing strategic impact and effectiveness, and training employees in the use of new technologies in compliance. The study revealed that the proper use of artificial intelligence in compliance, taking into account the resolution of problematic issues, can significantly improve the efficiency of the compliance system, helping companies comply with legislation, minimize risks, and protect their reputation.
