The master's thesis examines the issue of the characteristics of social support for internally displaced persons. The problem of social support is revealed as imperfection of legislation and practical content, namely the lack of tools for working with this category of citizens. In finding ways to solve the problem, the author examines the issues of establishing the status of a forced migrant, the essence of social support category and analysis of the experience of providing measures of social support to regions, including in the Perm Krai. As a result, the author developed recommendations for providing social support measures to forced migrants in the Perm Krai in the form of amendments to the current legislation and an instrument for organizing the provision of comprehensive social support in the Perm Krai.
