Sustainable Development of Regions: Basic Concepts, Directions, Comparative Analysis

The master's thesis examines the issue of sustainable development of the regions of the Volga Federal District. The problem is revealed when considering the dynamics of regional development, namely, when analyzing the directions of development, it is revealed that regions are developing unevenly, in inconsistent directions. When finding ways to solve the problem, the author explores the essence of the concept of sustainable development and indicators of regional development in socio-ecological and financial subsystems. As a result, the author proposed directions for improving the strategy of socio-economic development of the Perm Krai.
