Analysis of the Impact of the State of the Business Environment in the Region on Regional Economic Competitiveness

The degree work on a subject «Educational potential as a factor of regional competitiveness» is devoted to determining the degree of influence of educational potential on the level of competitiveness of regions. The work analyzes the education system and the level of vocational education in the Russian Federation. The influence of educational potential on the socio-economic development of regions is determined. On the basis of statistical data on economic and social indicators the most significant educational indicators in relation to the level of competitiveness of the regions are identified by means of regression analysis. Using cluster analysis, the presence of differentiation of regions by a number of educational and economic indicators is demonstrated. Recommendations on possible ways to improve the competitiveness of the regions of each cluster are formulated, taking into account the peculiarities of the formation of educational capital and the current level of its accumulation.
