The work «Grief Issues in Psychoanalytic Coaching of Changes» was carried out with the purpose of investigation of possibility and efficiency of application of the problematics of grieving and quantum approach within the framework of psychoanalytic coaching. The studying of the process of psychoanalytic coaching through the prism of grieving is relevant since the topic of grieving is directly related to the changes occurring in the everyday life of any individual. Any individual’s choice and development are accompanied by the grief work. Understanding how the client has dealt with it in the past and whether he or she was able to deal with it can help in coaching work. Within the framework of empirical tasks of this work it was established that there is a relationship between the processes of grief work and the ability to accept changes that clients initiate in the coaching process. Elements of the quantum approach were applied to the psychoanalytic coaching cases of the work’s authors. The hypotheses that the possibility or impossibility to do the grief work, and, consequently, to implement changes in life, directly depends on the level of functioning, the successfulness of passing through the early stages of psychosexual development. The quantum approach - a deeper, multidimensional analysis - contributes to the understanding of the client's problems, detailed elaboration of resistance to change. There is no single issue (relations of preverbal order, oedipal conflict) - a complex of both in different combinations and proportions determines each individual case depending on the personal history of the client, as well as the strength of resistance to changes in external reality.
