Development of a Tool for Assessing the Effectiveness of Project Management Practices in an International Company

This thesis is dedicated to the automation of the evaluating managerial performance. A conceptual model of managerial performance assessment has been developed based on the study of managerial performance evaluating in the project management of the international companies. An analysis of existing software solutions for automating the evaluation of managerial performance was conducted, revealing a need for a tool that can fully meet the requirements for automation. Based on comparative characteristics, the following software solutions were selected for the development of the tool: a data integration tool for setting up the ETL process, a database management system, and a BI tool for data visualization. As a result of the development, a created tool extracts data from various sources on a schedule, performs the necessary data transformations and processing to calculate KPI indicators, and visually presents performance indicators for both individual employees and structural units in the interactive report. This thesis contains 171 pages, 23 illustrations and 32 tables. There are 50 information sources that were used during the study.
