Creating a Tour Route «5K of the Perm Region» via Legendizing the Territory

This research deals with development and creation of a domestic tour route via using methods of legendizing the territory. Transformation of values and needs of newer consumers underlies integration of myths and legends into the sphere of modern tourism. The main feature of this principle is putting emphasis on storytelling as a central theme by filling tours' program with symbolic resources. Concept of legendizing or storytelling has started to be studied and developed by experts recently hence its application for real tours is at an initial stage. The common aim of creation such tour routes contribute to maintenance and thriving of local historic and cultural heritage. Thus connecting tourists’ demands with local destinations leads to possibility of boosting the hidden or unrealized potential of the last ones and structures them into the fast-growing system of economy.
