Among its various facets, livestock farming plays a significant role, not only in meeting the nutritional needs of populations but also in driving economic growth and rural development. Against this backdrop, the assessment of investment projects in the agricultural sector, particularly within the domain of livestock farming, emerges as a critical endeavor for policymakers, investors, and stakeholders alike. The agricultural sector stands as a linchpin of global economies, providing sustenance, livelihoods, and economic opportunities to millions worldwide. Within this sector, livestock farming holds particular significance, contributing not only to food security but also to rural development and economic growth. However, assessing investment projects in livestock farming presents unique challenges influenced by diverse socio-economic, political, and environmental factors, especially in regions like Central Asia and former Soviet Union country.
