The Creation of Interactive Souveniers Toys (on the Example of Project Perm Plush)

Annotation The present master's thesis of Olga Bogdanova, a graduate student, consists of 60 sheets and appendices. Keywords: tourist souvenir, souvenir toy, brand, interactivity, souvenir for children, souvenir toy development, promotion. This master's thesis is devoted to the development of a children's interactive souvenir toy using the example of the Perm Plush project. The study examines the creation of tourist souvenirs as a means of promoting territories, especially relevant in the context of increasing interest in children's and family tourism in Russia and the world. The purpose of the work is to develop an interactive souvenir for children's tourism in the Perm Region. The research objectives include the study of concepts and types of tourist souvenirs, the analysis of domestic and foreign experience in creating interactive toys, the study of children's preferences in souvenirs, as well as the development and testing of an interactive toy "Perm Plush. A plush map of Russia." The first chapter examines in detail the theoretical concept of a tourist souvenir, its goals and significance, as well as the criteria of interactivity and children's orientation. The theoretical basis of the study was the works of such authors as G. Shatalov, I. Akinfieva, O. Zheleznyak and others. In the second chapter, the analysis of souvenir products of the Perm Region is carried out, its children's orientation is determined and foreign experience in creating interactive toys is considered. The third chapter presents the project of creating an interactive souvenir "Perm Plush. The Plush Map of Russia", which received the support of the foundation at the Student Startup competition in the Creative Industries nomination in 2023. The prospects for the development of the Perm Plush LLC company for the production of such souvenirs are also being considered. The results of the study showed that interactive souvenirs attract more attention and increase interest in tourist destinations. The work describes the significance and prospects for the development of the interactive toy souvenir project, examines the impact of souvenir products on the tourist brand of the region and offers further prospects for the development of the Permsky Plush LLC company.
