Over the past few years, youth policy has emerged as a separate industry with its own management structure, regulatory framework, personnel system and a new approach to working with young people, in which all resources are directed to creating conditions for their self-realization. On a separate note, youth policy is the subject of joint responsibility of the Russian Federation and its regions, while being implemented at all levels of government, including federal, regional and municipal. In the context of the constantly changing socio-economic situation of modern youth in society and the growth of their requests to the state, it is especially important to ensure a stable and receptive management system capable of making decisions and hearing the real demands of young citizens. This paper will consider the structural changes taking place in the field of youth policy at the regional level, in the format of creating separate executive bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation implementing youth policy. This work will help to assess the impact of structural changes on the functioning of the youth policy industry in the regions of Russia, including resource indicators and indicators reflecting the situation of youth in the region.
